By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using JobApp ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
Upon purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one (1) device at a time. This is a license to use the Software, not a transfer of ownership.
Your license key is bound to a device via hardware fingerprint. You may transfer your license to a different device up to three (3) times per year. The annual counter resets on your purchase anniversary date.
You may not sublicense, sell, resell, or distribute your license key. You may gift your license to another person through the in-app gifting mechanism.
Some features require a monthly subscription (Global + Community, Web App, Discord Only). Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Subscription pricing may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.
You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; share your license key with others or make it publicly available; use automated tools to abuse the licensing system; use the Software or community features to harass, spam, or harm others; use the community to distribute malware, phishing, or illegal content.
Your use of JobApp is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your application data is stored locally and never shared without your explicit consent.
Desktop App: 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Your license key will be revoked upon refund.
Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial billing periods. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. JobApp provides insights, analytics, and coaching-style suggestions — not guarantees of employment outcomes. The intelligence engine uses heuristics and machine learning to surface patterns, but its outputs are informational, not predictive guarantees.
We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or employment decisions made based on the Software's outputs.
The desktop application works offline and will continue to function regardless of server availability. Server-dependent features (community insights, global data, update checks) depend on server uptime, which we strive to maintain but cannot guarantee.
If the service is discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' notice. The desktop application will continue to work offline indefinitely.
We may revoke your license for violations of these terms, including but not limited to key sharing, reverse engineering, or abusive behavior in community spaces. In cases of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.
You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Software and requesting data deletion.
If you participate in the Discord community, you agree to be respectful, supportive, and constructive. Job searching is emotionally challenging; our community exists to help, not harm. Violations of community guidelines may result in removal from community channels.
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email and/or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Disputes will be resolved through informal resolution first, then small claims court if necessary.
